The Game
This website is for my English translations of the stories from the Japanese phone game 夢王国と眠れる１００人の王子様 (Yume Oukoku to Nemureru Hyakunin no Oujisama), translated as 'The 100 Sleeping Princes and the Kingdom of Dreams', or Yume100 for short. The game is only available in Japan (outside Japan, you can get it through apps like APKPure) for both Android and Apple products and was created and published by GCrest.
The basic premise of the game is that the main character, the Princess of Träumere whose name may be selected by the player, must travel the Kingdom of Dreams and awaken the many sleeping princes scattered throughout. The princes have all been sealed within rings because of the attacks by evil creatures called yumekui, or Dream Eaters. It is the duty of the Princess of Träumere to travel the kingdoms, free the princes, and battle the Dream Eaters in order to save the Kingdom of Dreams.
The game is a match-3 puzzle game with otome game elements.
The Stories
The game has multiple stories, including the Main Story, Event Stories, and Prince Stories. The translations here are only for the Prince Stories, which are unlocked for a player when they acquire a prince. As the prince is levelled up, more chapters of their story are unlocked. In the early chapters, the player will be prompted in the story to choose between two responses. One response will give Sun Drops, and the other gives Moon Drops. While the text immediately following the choice varies depending on which option is selected, most of the story remains the same no matter the choice.
Once the prince's level has been maxed and all their stories read, they may be Awakened. The amount of Sun and Moon Drops will determine whether your prince can follow the Moon Route (月) or the Sun Route (太陽). After Awakening, more chapters of the story are unlocked. If an Affection Break is done 2 times (done by using a Love Up Trainer or combining a copy of the same prince) and the prince levelled up to their new max, a Secret Story is revealed which is told from the perspective of the prince.
In addition to the chosen Awakening Route giving a different art still and different skill improvements, it also gives the player a different story to read. Generally, the Sun Route will have a lighter story, and the Moon Route will have a darker story. Neither route is 'bad'.
The number of chapters before and after Awakening depend on the rarity of the prince, or their star count.
The Format
The translations are formatted as dialogue following the same format as the game. As the main character is named by the player at the start of the game, any point at which this character's name is used has been filled with OO to allow the reader to insert their own name as they read.
As of the 3rd year anniversary in March 2019, the game has 177 original princes. Almost every prince also has at least one Event Version, and often times more than one. Each time there is a new event, new Event Princes are released. The game also has special princes from Collaboration Events, where characters from other franchises can be acquired. As the game runs so many events, and collaboration princes cannot be obtained once the related event is over, I will only be translating the stories of the original princes.
In cases where I do not have the prince whose story I am translating, I use this Japanese website where other people have posted the transcriptions of the stories. However even using this site, I don't always have the dialogue following the in-game choices for both Sun and Moon.

The Translator
I started playing this game in February 2018. Since then, I have done my best to try and translate the Prince Stories from Japanese to English. I am not a professional translator, but I do have experience with the Japanese language, including a JLPT N3 certification, a Masters in Japanese, and 2 years of experience living in Japan. I am also a native English speaker.
I do these translations for fun in my free time. As such, the rate at which I can translate stories is unfortunately inconsistent. I also do some stuff for the Fandom wikia site, translating skills, titles, and in-game announcements. All character images are taken from there.
