Ch. 5: Chasing Fluff (MOON)
After following Fluff and leaving Avi's castle...
OO: "Fluff! W-wait!"
Fluff kept trotting ahead without stopping.
We slipped out from under the gaze of the guards, and I realized we were coming to the town.
Though it was normally lively and bustling during the day, at night it was deathly quiet.
It's a little scary...
But the way things were going, if Fluff didn't go back to the castle, I felt Avi would surely become depressed.
I mustered my courage and continued to follow Fluff.
At that time...
Avi: "Where the heck did she go!?"
Avi had searched the entire castle without finding OO and was becoming impatient.
He had asked the maid, and she had informed him that OO had been properly treated and should already be resting for the night.
Avi: "Don't tell me..."
Avi felt uneasy.
He looked out into the courtyard.
There, he noticed small blue-purple petals fluttering through the air.
She had said the flowers were beautiful.
Avi: "On a night like this...if something happens..."
He remembered her gentle, smiling face and grit his teeth together.
Without realizing it, Avi's heart had become filled with OO.
