Ch. 6: You're Important... (MOON)
The stars twinkled quietly above, shining in the night sky.
Hinata: "Hey, if you're going to say that, say you'll be mine."
I felt like I was being sucked into the darkness that shadowed Hinata's eyes.
What…should I do?
Bewildered, I blinked again and again.
Hinata: "…you really are funny OO-chan."
OO: "Eh…?"
Hinata: "I really wanted to make you mine right away…I thought if I bought you what you wanted, you'd like me…and you'd be mine. But I guess it's totally hopeless."
Hinata laughed as if exasperated.
Hinata: "But that's how it is… this feeling of 'wanting' no matter what…this is 'desire'. If I can't have you…I'll take you by force if I have to…ok?"
OO: "Hina…ta?"
His eyes gleamed with an ominous light, and I instinctively held my breath.
Hinata: "Right Momo-chan…eh, what!? Whaa~! When did that happen!?"
Hinata lifted Momo-chan up, and I saw a part had ripped again.
OO: "It'll be alright, if we go back I'll fix it again for you…"
Hinata stared at Momo-chan for a while.
Hinata: "…yeah OK. I thought so too~and it's for Momo-chan. I'd be in trouble if you weren't always with me OO-chan, right? Right~Momo-chan♪ Aha, yeah. Momo-chan says he wants to be with OO-chan fore~ver♪"
Together…forever?
Hinata: "Hey OO-chan…I just wanna check something."
OO: "What is it?"
Hinata: "When I say I want you, you know what I mean right?"
OO: "…eh?"
I looked at him blankly, and Hinata placed his index finger on the tip of my nose.
Hinata: "OO-chan…you really are thick huh."
OO: "What do you mean…?"
Hinata: "I realize you're careless… What I really want is…OO-chan…and that means that I love you…"
OO: "L…love!? You love me?"
Hinata: "A~ah, you really hadn't noticed…even though I said it so many times…I wasn't super clear before now so you didn't get it."
When Hinata says he wants something, it means love!?
OO: "I-I'm sorry…Hinata! I hadn't thought it meant that…"
Hinata: "Heh? Then that means…you got the wrong idea…when I said it about Momo-chan, and my family and friends …?"
OO: "Um, I'm really sorry…"
Suddenly, Hinata bent over in laughter.
Hinata: "…pfh, ahahahahaha! This is great, better than I expected! You really are funny OO-chan! This is the best♪"
OO: "Hinata…?"
Hinata: "I get it, this is just too much fun~. The instant you become mine."
Saying so, Hinata suddenly grasped both of my hands.
Hinata: "I'll be glad when I finally get something 'precious'… I wonder what it'll be like, I'm super excited! OO-chan, when you become my favorite toy…yeah, I can't wait! Don't worry, I'll be nice to you. OO-chan is my 'precious' toy, and I'd be sad if you broke♪"
OO: "Hinata…what do you mean? You're hurting me…"
Hinata: "I'll never give you up…"
I looked into his eyes, and for some reason it made my heart leap…-.
That surprised me, and I panicked as my hands remained in his grip and I realized there was no retreat.
Hinata: "You'll never be able to run away from me."
Hinata tightly gripped my hands and moved in closer…
Hinata: "Just give in…OK?"
Those words were whispered close to my ear.
OO: "…!"
Hinata's breath brushed against my ear, and without thinking I turned away.
Hinata: "Haha…OO-chan, you're so cute…"
Hinata smiled in a way that didn't fit, like it was both loving and a little terrifying…
An odd feeling sprouted in my heart.
