Juri: "I'm makin' lots of tasty shaved ice! I know yer all eatin' it fast, but try ta savor it!"
Sorbge: "And I, beloved by the gods, will be cheering you on. I pray that you fight bravely! Do your best everyone!"
At a cry from the spectators, the princes from the Country of Ice Treats smiled in response.
On the other side, in the space reserved for participants…-.
Vio: "My goal is to be the fastest to eat shaved ice in the world! I'll show you; this time I'll be number one!"
Legrange: "Good luck. I'm sure you can do it Vio."
Vio: "Yeah! Watch me Legrange! Here I go -----!!"
Lateria: "Now then, on my signal, you may…hm? You, over there. It's not time to start yet. Just wait a moment and put the spoon down."
Vio: "Uwoooooooo----! I'm gonna be the fastest to devour all of the shaved ice here!"
Legrange: "Vio! That's the way!"
Juri: "Oooh, way ta eat! I'll keep makin' it. Sorbge, once it's done, bring it over would ya."
Sorbge: "Sure, no problem. That aside, the special shaved ice you make looks delicious as always Juri. I'll just take a sample…"
Juri: "Ah, if ya shove that much in yer mouth all at once…-"
Sorbge: "Oo…it's as if the gods are testing me…! My head…it's pounding!!"
Juri: "Haha, right? Well it should settle down if ya give it a bit."
While that exchange happened between Sorbge and Juri, Vio was shoveling down the shaved ice with tremendous force…-.

Vio: "Oh, am I out of time!? That's so frustrating, I can keep going…!"
Legrange: "Still, it's amazing you were able to eat so much in such a short time Vio. Good job."
Juri: "That guy's got the right idea don'cha think?"
Sorbge: "Yeah, I have high hopes for his results."
Vio: "So, what're the results!? Did I get best in the world!?"
Lateria:" …unfortunately, you are disqualified."
Vio: "Eh…?"
Lateria: "You started eating before the starting signal was given, so I couldn't get an accurate measure of time. I had called for you to put the spoon down but…-."
Vio: "No way…! I thought for sure this time I'd be best in the world!"
Legrange: "Th -that's too bad Vio…"
Vio dropped his spoon and it clanged on the plate.
Though it ended in failure, perhaps the day will come when this can be a good memory for them …-.
