At that time, one of the men pushed Kaine out of the way and grabbed my arm…-

Well-Built Man: “Whoa!?”
Kaine went to forcibly push the man away and…-
OO: “K-Kaine!?”
Suddenly, Kaine lifted me up in his arms as if I weighed nothing.
Kaine: “Hold on tight OO!!”
Saying so, Kaine held on to me and took off running.
Well-Built Man: “Hey! Get back here!!”
The men chased after us, but Kaine was faster. Before long, their figures had become quite distant.
W-wow…!
Kaine held tightly to my shoulder.
I could feel the heat from his slender but strong hands through my clothing.
That warmth calmed my beating heart.
